Heater nameplate details: • Type: Hydronic S3 • Version: D5E, Economy • Reference (Ausführ.-Nr.): 25 2993 • 12 V, 5.0 kW, diesel • Built week 45, 2022 • The label has "CS" printed next to the Duplikat box I understand the EasyStart Pro works with the CS generation but not the CL generation, since the CAN systems differ. Based on reference 25 2993, can you confirm mine is CS and that the Pro is the right controller? Second question: my control box is currently locked out from repeated failed start attempts during commissioning. Can the EasyStart Pro clear that lockout and read the stored fault codes, or do I need an EasyScan for that? Thanks.

The Eberspacher Easy Start Pro is compatible with the Eberspacher Hydronic S3 D5E 'CS' model number - 252993. 

You are correct, the 'CL' version Hydronic S3 cannot be controller by the Easy Start Pro. 

The Easy Start Pro will read the error memory on the heater, give you P000 codes and delete errors, this should remove heater lockout AS long as the fault on the heater has been rectified.
