My van is equipped with a Webasto air top 2000 ST. It broke down at altitude because it got dirty and I had to clean it completely.
Apparently you have to connect this switch to a white wire and a red and white wire. I have a white and red wire waiting but the only white wire I found is already connected to the control element. Do I have to disconnect it to connect it to the switch? When I measure the red and white wire my multimeter indicates a voltage of 12 volts. So I would like to know if my Webasto (2014) is compatible with this product. If it is compatible how do I make it work? If not, what is this red and white wire for. Thank you for your help.

View productNot all Webasto Air Top 2000 ST heaters are suitable for high altitude functionality unfortunately. We'd need to learn more about your exact heater, whether it has a suitable internal ECU and main wiring harness to accept a switch modification such a this.
