Hi, can Eberspacher Maxitherm ducting insulation wrap be used externally under the floor?

Eberspacher Maxitherm insulation is water resistant, but it can hold water, much like a sponge. In such cases when wet then the insulative effect would be compromised unfortunately. We would recommend therefore if you were to use Maxitherm on the underside of the vehicle that it is protected from road and rainwater.
