In the majority of cases the 802 controller can replace the 801 controller, however the 802 does NOT have any diagnostic functions that the 801 series controller had - To help confirm compatibility can you please advise which heater model and build year you have? Please email sales@butlertechnik.com if you wish to send photos to help confirm ID of your heater.
