Hi Colin, Thank you for your enquiry.

Are you describing a thermostat to control this heater via ambient room/cabin temperature? This method of controlling the room temperature isn't typically the method recommended by Eberspacher for this coolant heater. Please confirm your application and then we should be able to recommend the best solution

Hi David Looking at the manual, and being a school drop out Knowing that the heater I bought from yourselves. Let say heater is put on overnight 10 hrs, as you know it’s on full chat. 5 rads How many how many litres will it burn over 10 hrs? Just thought your probably twiddling your fingers, nothing to do. ? the Eberspacher S3 D5E Hydronic water heater diesel consumption over 10hrs on full power would be 5.9ltrs.

Please see attached photo. It can be read that this heater uses

On max heat output (5kw)- 0.59 ltrs per hour

On minimum heat output (1.3kw) - 0.15 ltrs per hour
