Hello, we are wondering if the Eberspacher Airtronic 802 is the same as the Airtronic 801 controller

The 802 does not have the same functionality exactly as the 801. Unlike the 801 Airtronic controller the 802 does not have diagnostic fault error reading function. It works very similarly other than this, the user operation for on/off and room temp control is identical - but perhaps best to advise what heater model you have please if you wish us to confirm compatibility with your heater.
