Can you replace an Eberspacher Hydronic D4WSC with an Eberspacher Hydronic D5WSC 25221905? We have a D4WSC, would this be a suitable replacement or are the connections different ?

Yes, the Eberspacher Hydronic D5WSC can be used as a replacement for the Eberspacher Hydronic D4WSC.
Eberspacher Hydronic D4WSC Water heaters with model number:

  • 252221050000 Eberspacher Hydronic D4WSC 12v
  • 252257050000 Eberspacher Hydronic D4WSC 12v

The 5kw Hydronic D5W SC version, should have the same coolant pipe configuration as your existing heater version. The water pump and fuel pump are internal on both the D4WSC and D5WSC. 

The 5kw heater version will heat your coolant circuit faster, but this is not typically an issue for most installations.
