yes the S3 D5E is the natural replacement heater for the old generation D5WSC heaters for Narrowboat application.
This though would require a full upgrade kit as the new S3 water heater generation requires a differnt wiring harness, controller and fuel pump - though the exhaust system remains the same dimension - see weblink
We do still have a limited number of brand new D5WSC heaters in stock if you'd prefer a straight and simple swap out - see weblink below
