my Webasto Air Top 2000 STC electric harness that I need to replace due to damage has a 620ohm resistor across pins 8 and 9 on blue/black wires. I notice this harness has no wires or pins in these positions. Is this resistor needed for a rotary knob type controller. Thanks in advance Steve

the resistor that's needed for the earlier harnesses is installed when there is no external/remote temp sensor installed. If your heater is not fitted with an additional sensor then the new harness will work as a direct replacement
