This question is related to Eberspacher Airtronic Heater Upgrade Conversion Wiring Kit D2 to S2 D2L and D4S to M2 D4R.
View productthis harness is designed to upgrade the earlier Airtronic ( D4S, D2 etc) wiring harness - to allow installation of the later generation S2 or S3 Airtronic heaters. It is NOT suitable for downgrade of S2 D2L Airtronic to the earlier generation D4S Airtronic heaters. In this situation we would recommend replacing the S2 D2L heater to the larger output M3 D4R Airtronic heater

The Eberspacher M3 D4R heater will fit in the same exact mounting, though it is physically larger so ensure you have enough space. Also the air ducting for an M3 D4R is larger @ 75mm internal diameter. If your existing ducting is standard S2 D2L 60mm internal diameter then you must use the larger suitable ducting
