Internal diameter of this genuine Eberspacher heater fuel standpipe is 2mm.
They are not manufactured of stainless steel, they require to remain both malleable and easy to cut as they have a great many applications.
I have never known an instance of these corroding in 30-40yrs. It is likely Eberspacher have the metallurgy correct on this component.
