Ideally you would use a box spanner to remove the glow pin from the heat exchanger, but on an S3 it's also just possible to use a regular spanner wrench. The old glow pin electrical terminals will require removing from the plug housing also - if you're doing this work regularly then I'd recommend buying a specific tool for pin extraction, but it's possible to use a small electricians' screwdriver also
