Is this Webasto heater ducting silencer for the hot air outlet side? It says "reduces air intake noise levels" thank you

This diesel heater ducting silencer can be installed in either the inlet or the outlet of the heater ducting. Default position is typically the inlet as this tends to be more beneficial for noise attenuation, but it can also usefully be installed into the heater outlet.
