To upgrade from the D5 to the D6L does it require changing the fuel pump? Also, does the D6L use the same stainless mounting plate?

the Eberspacher D6L Airtronic heater requires a different mount plate to the D5 Airtronic. We supply both a turret mount plate for vehicle installation and also a stainless steel mount plate for marine boat installs.

The D6L also uses a different fuel pump to the D5 Airtronic. The new generation silent  fuel pumps work on a different voltage so the old D5 fuel pump cannot be re-used
