Dose it have afterburner thermostat shut down when temperature reached an on when temperature drops

This question is related to Webasto Air Top 2000 STC 2kW Single Outlet diesel heater and install kit 12v.

The glow pin re starts during the cooldown cycle, is this what you're wishing to confirm?

No I'm looking for it to turn off when the temperature is reached and turn back on when the temperature drops in the van, like the central heating in you house

Yes, Webasto air heaters do operate this way, they shutdown or reduce heat output according to room temperature. There are a number of differnt controllers and room sensors available to fine-tune this functionality if required. We'd need to learn a little more about your application to allow us to recommend any specific controller. The standard rotary controller supplied in this heater kit controls room temperature and is adequate in the majority of installation set ups.
