Welfare Unit Heaters and Service Kits

High quality Webasto and Eberspacher Welfare Unit diesel fired heaters are suitable for all types of welfare units, portable buildings, groundhog units, site offices and temporary accommodation.

These diesel fired heaters provide clean, quiet comfort for all occupants of welfare units and come with full instructions and all the necessary components to carry out installation. All heaters come with a twenty four month warranty.

We also supply genuine Eberspacher and Webasto service kits for popular air and water heater models.

Fast pick up, service and return heater repairs and servicing for welfare unit heaters is also available.

What is a Welfare Unit?

Firstly, what is a welfare unit? A welfare unit is a temporary portable building or vehicle provided for employees to make available the required facilities on construction sites, and in some cases temporary accommodation. Sometimes they are referred to as a site office or site crib. More recently they have been utilised as Covid-19 testing stations and vaccination centres.

Welfare units are designed to suit the needs of employees and can be mobile or static. Sometimes they will be in the form of a welfare van but are more commonly a portable temporary building. These units should be available to employees from the start to the finish any venture.

With many employees working on sites where welfare units are available it is important to keep them warm and dry during the colder months. The UK Health and Safety Executive also require employers to comply with health and safety regulations and provide a workplace with suitable temperatures and good ventilation for the environment. This means providing a heating system that is clean, quiet, and economical.

Where a readily accessible electrical power supply is not available it is common to have diesel or petrol heaters installed and operational. If you have heaters installed in your welfare units it is also important for them to be maintained and repaired as soon as possible in the event of any problems. We recommend at least an annual service or sooner if a problem is detected. Leaving maintenance until a problem occurs can be expensive and inconvenient. It is always better to prevent

Welfare Unit Heater Repairs & Maintenance

Butler Technik provide a heater repair and maintenance service with free collection. All you need to do is have the heater ready for pick up and we will do the rest. When your heating unit arrives at our workshop it is tested using the appropriate manufacturer approved diagnostic software. Your heater faults are diagnosed by our technical support team. You will be contacted with a report and quotation for repair. If you decide not to go ahead with the quote or your heater is beyond a sensible and economic repair, you can opt for your heater to be returned. There will then just be the diagnostic and return shipping fee to pay.

When your heater is repaired you will be provided with a report and contacted to confirm the return address. We will send your heater overnight to your desired location. Simple and efficient for all of our customers.
